Digital Image - 2015.018.0001
This photo, probably taken in Illinois around 1905 (Based on estimated age of donor's father in the photo...Dad was born late 1899 so it was easy to always remember his age because it was the same as the year...so in 1905 Dad was 5 years old). Left to right: Ruth (died at 13) Granddad Ira, Eva, Raymond, Arthur, Grandmother Laura, and Ethel.

Digital Image - 2015.018.0002
This photo probably taken in Angleton, Texas around 1910-1911 (again based on the estimated age of donor's father in the photo and the fact that the family moved from Kansas to Angleton somewhere between 1910 and 1912) Left to right in the photo are Granddad Ira, Arthur, Eva, Ethel, Raymond, Grandmother Laura. (Note: Probably later than 1910 because daughter Ruth died August 1, 1913 at age 15 and she is not in the photo.)

Digital Image - 2015.018.0004
This is a photo of the first farm house Ira Brubaker and family built upon arrival in Angleton, Texas somewhere between 1910 and 1912. Granddad Ira farmed the two hundred acres adjacent to the house. Story has it that they lived in the tool shed while the house was being built. Unfortunately, the also built a basement under the house which my Dad said promptly filed up with water.

Digital Image - 2015.018.0007
Photo of the first Angleton Farm house as it looked when Joan and I found it, and visited with the current owner in 2001. The owner at that time, and still is to the best of my knowledge, was Helen Russell. Helen's grandparents purchased the Brubaked property including the 200 acres of land. The land acreage was divded between she and her two siblings upon the death of her parents.
