Surveyed Dec. 1912, J. Lee Chambers, C.E. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Traverse of a proposed public road along the eastern bank of the Brazos River commencing at a bridge at Columbia (now East Columbia), thence southerly along the eastern bank of the river to the bottom of the map. Cf. map 1988.070c.0080, which shows it continuing on south to a bridge at Brazoria. The northerly portion of this road (approximately from East Columbia to the south line of the Asa Mitchell league) is now CR 645. This map includes lands in the Bailey, Carter, Mitchell, Coles, and S.F.Austin grants.
